The Hamilton Dream Center is a Canadian outreach organization located in the heart of downtown Hamilton, Ontario. We serve in a place that has the second highest crime rate in the entire City of Hamilton. The dealers and the users call it "Crack Central" and it is not uncommon to see prostitutes working off church steps 10 minutes after they close. Hamilton has the highest incidence of child poverty in Ontario. In our neighbourhood 2 out of 5 families live below the poverty line and 76% of all children aged 7-14 go to school every day hungry. It is our intention to change that. Our goal at The Hamilton Dream Center is to be light in a darkened place. We believe that by meeting the immediate needs of the community we will be just that, a place of hope. Your participation in helping this dream become a reality is greatly needed. We can not do it alone. Your new or gently used clothing and non-perishable food items are always welcome.
